2010 Fusion In-Stock!

The All-New 2010 Ford Fusion is now in-stock and ready for delivery!  Ford is taking aim at the mid-size car segment just like they did 32 years ago with trucks and we all know the results of that...32 years in a row as the number one selling truck in America.  Not only does the Fusion Hybrid out perform Toyota's Camry hybrid but the new 2.5 liter I-4 cylinder gas engine out performs Toyota's four cylinder gas engine as well.  Toyota Camry's 2.4 liter I-4 puts out a modest 158 horse-power with 161 lb-feet of torque.  The new 2.5 liter I-4 in the Fusion puts out an eye popping 175 horse-power with 172 Ib-feet of torque.  One would expect the Toyota to get better gas mileage right?  Well not anymore.  The Fusion gets 23 mpg (city) and 34 mpg (hwy) compared to 21 mpg and 31 mpg for the Toyota.  So let's do a quick recap...Ford Fusion has more power and better fuel economy than the Toyota Camry.  With Ford's quality improving faster than any other manufacturer over the last four years it won't be long before a new champion is crowned in the mid-size car segment, and it looks like the blue oval will take home the hardware.  If you haven't driven a Ford lately then do yourself a favor and Drive One.

Let's Fiesta San Antonio

Ford recently unveiled the all-new 2011 Ford Fiesta that will go on sale early 2010.  The Fiesta will be Ford's first true Global car and will be manufactured in Germany, Spain, Mexico, Thailand and China for sale in markets around the world.  One hundred Fiesta's have already been produced for North America in Germany's Cologne plant for a pre-launch awareness campaign the "Fiesta Movement".  Through its “Fiesta Movement” program (http://fiestamovement.com), Ford will select 100 customers to drive the new Fiesta and then relate their experiences through social networking sites such as Facebook, FlickR and YouTube.  The “Fiesta Movement” cars feature the acclaimed 1.6-litre Ti-VCT gas engine.  The new Fiesta has been in production in Cologne since August 2008.

The 2009 F-150 was named the most rugged truck by customers in an online survey by Kelley Blue Book.  The Brand Image Awards are based on consumer data collected from more than 12,000 shoppers on Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com.  The 2009 Ford F-150 is America’s best-selling vehicle and the country’s safest full-size pickup truck.

Ford Leaving Chrysler, GM in Its Rearview

Just about everyone knows the improvements that Fordhas made across the board in several key areas.  Ford's quality is now unsurpassed by the almighty foreign manufacturers Toyota and Honda.  Ford has more Five-Star crash test rated vehicles than ANY other manufacturer.  With all the improvements going on daily at Ford they have not had to ask for help from the government like Chrysler and GM.  Through January 2009 Ford's market share has actually increased for four months in a row for the first time in 14 years.
